Fasting and Nutrition coaching

What is IF?

Intermittent Fasting

Also known as Time-Restricted Eating, is essentially a pattern of alternating between periods of eating and not eating. This deliberate break from eating offers our bodies much-needed rest, allowing our digestive system, organs, brain, blood, and hormones to undergo vital healing processes.

Within our bodies, over 80 hormones play crucial roles, including insulin, cortisol, melatonin, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, leptin, and ghrelin. Fasting provides an opportunity for these hormones to find balance and function optimally. Contrary to common belief, excess fat often stems from elevated insulin levels rather than simply consuming too many calories. By keeping insulin levels low for 12 to 40 hours, we activate our fat stores for energy, boost human growth hormone (HGH) production, trigger autophagy for deep cellular repair, and sustain energy levels throughout the day.

Many individuals of varying ages have reported improvements such as better sleep, reduced medication reliance, body recomposition, and clearer skin after adopting intermittent fasting. My aim is to help you achieve these benefits too!

With each day offering 24 hours and each week comprising seven days, there are numerous ways to structure fasting periods and eating windows. Together, we’ll find the eating pattern that aligns best with your goals, schedule, work, fitness routine, aspirations, social commitments, family time, and body.

Food choices are also highly personalized. Everyone’s dietary needs and preferences differ, so following a one-size-fits-all approach isn’t ideal. Some individuals may need to eliminate certain food groups for health reasons, allowing their bodies to recover and heal effectively. Regardless of the foods you prefer, intermittent fasting can be beneficial due to the healing break it provides each day.

An unexpected perk of daily clean fasting is the saving of time, money, and mental energy. Suddenly, the mind feels clearer and more grounded, fostering a sense of peace.

This isn’t just another diet; it’s a lifestyle change. Once you start, you’ll realize the freedom it offers. So many people are finding it easier to stick to because it’s so adaptable to individual needs. The transition becomes effortless over time. Unlike traditional diets with strict rules, this lifestyle is more about flexibility. That’s why I prefer to call it a lifestyle rather than a diet.

Today, mindless eating can lead to chronic diseases due to chemicals like obesogens in our food, disrupting our hormones and triggering the formation of fat cells. Being mindful of when we eat and what we eat is crucial for our health. That’s why adopting a fasting lifestyle makes sense. It gets easier with time and offers a sustainable way to manage weight and promote overall well-being.
